On the afternoon of August 30, 2022, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Finance of Viet Nam Mr. Ta Anh Tuan had a meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Securities Commission of Cambodia led by Mr. Pen Thirong - General Director of the Ministry of Economy and Finance as the head. The meeting discussed Government bonds. Representatives of leaders of some specialized units from both sides also attended the meeting.

On the morning of August 30, in Ha Noi, Deputy Minister of Finance, Ta Anh Tuan had a working session with the Technical Assistance Delegation on public debt management institutions of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Attending the meeting were also representatives of several departments of the Ministry of Finance, and experts of the IMF and the WB.

On August 29, at the Ministry of Finance, Minister Ho Duc Phoc had a meeting with Ms. Caitlin Wiesen - Resident Representative UNDP in Viet Nam. Attending the meeting were representatives of functional units of the MOF.

On March 18th 2021, Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s) revised Viet Nam’s Credit Rating outlook to Positive and affirmed its Ba3 rating.

On 06 September 2022, Moody’s Investors Service upgrades Vietnam’s long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings to Ba2 from Ba3 and changed the outlook to stable from positive.

On May 26, 2022, credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings upgrades Vietnam long-term sovereign credit rating to BB+, outlook Stable.

19 March 2015, Hanoi: Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Truong Chi Trung on behalf of the Government of Vietnam and Deputy President of Korea Eximbank (KEXIM) Mr. Yin Seong Hyeog signed 2 Loan Agreements on “Thien Tan Water Supply Project Phase II: Supplementary Loan” and “Support Program to Respond to Climate Change for Fiscal Year 2014” with the total value of 25 million US dollars. Representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environments and the People’s Council of Dong Nai Province also attended the ceremony.

02 February 2015, in Ha Noi, Minister of Finance Mr. Dinh Tien Dung had a meeting with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) delegation led by Mr. Yasuo Matsuyama – general director of the MUFG’s Hanoi branch.
