ADB and World Bank Provide Over USD 400 Million in Loans and aid for Vietnam’s Projects

On April 16th, 2025, at the National Convention Center, the signing ceremony of loan and aid agreements between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the World Bank (WB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) took place for the Binh Duong Water Environment Improvement Project (funded by WB – IBRD), the Southern Waterway and Logistics Corridor Development Project (funded by WB – IDA), and the Climate-Resilient Ethnic Minority Infrastructure Development Project in Phu Yen and Quang Tri provinces (funded by ADB), ADB loan. This is an activity within the framework of the Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) Summit.

19 March 2015, Hanoi: Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Truong Chi Trung on behalf of the Government of Vietnam and Deputy President of Korea Eximbank (KEXIM) Mr. Yin Seong Hyeog signed 2 Loan Agreements on “Thien Tan Water Supply Project Phase II: Supplementary Loan” and “Support Program to Respond to Climate Change for Fiscal Year 2014” with the total value of 25 million US dollars. Representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environments and the People’s Council of Dong Nai Province also attended the ceremony.
